Doubling Down on Wolfware: Founder Transitions to Part-Time Ahead of Launch

Introduction
Today, I want to share a big decision regarding my professional journey and Wolfware’s future. I have decided to transition to a part-time role in my current job as a Principal Solutions Architect at a logistics company so that I can dedicate more time to Wolfware. It’s a significant change, but one I’m excited about because it reflects both how far Wolfware has come and where it’s headed. With this shift, Wolfware will no longer just be my weekend project—it will finally get the time and attention it deserves during the work week as well.
The Journey So Far
Ever since I founded Wolfware, I’ve been balancing it with my full-time job. That has meant countless late nights and weekends spent turning an idea into a real product. Being a Principal Solutions Architect in a busy logistics company by day and a startup founder by night has been both challenging and rewarding. On one hand, it limited the hours I could pour into Wolfware; on the other, it forced me to be extremely focused and efficient with the time I had. Over the past months, we made steady progress—from sketching out initial concepts, to building the first prototype, to refining the platform based on early feedback—all during those off-hours. This experience of working on Wolfware part-time has really shaped our company’s DNA: it taught us to prioritize what truly matters, be resourceful with our time, and celebrate each milestone no matter how small.
Why Now?
Why make this change now? Simply put, Wolfware is at a turning point. In recent months, we’ve hit some key product milestones that bring us much closer to an official launch. Many of the core features we envisioned are now built, and early testers have validated that we’re on the right track. With those achievements, Wolfware has grown from a side project into something ready for prime time. However, getting from this stage to a successful launch requires more than just late-night effort. It requires focused days, quick iterations, and being available to collaborate with our team and partners during normal business hours. In short, Wolfware is ready for full-time attention. By moving to a part-time role at my day job, I can give Wolfware the focused energy it needs at this critical juncture to ensure our launch is as smooth and impactful as possible.
What This Means for Wolfware
This transition is more than a change in my schedule—it’s a catalyst for Wolfware’s growth. With more of my week freed up for Wolfware, our development can proceed faster and more smoothly. I’ll be able to work more during regular hours, meaning we can solve problems and roll out improvements in days instead of weeks. We’ll have the agility to respond to bugs or new ideas almost in real-time, accelerating our overall timeline.
For our users and early adopters, this dedicated focus means you’ll start seeing updates and new features more frequently. I’ll also have more bandwidth to engage with our community—listening to feedback, answering questions, and incorporating your suggestions—now that I’m not limited to just nights and weekends. For our prospective customers and partners, it means I can be more available for demos, discussions, and collaborations to ensure Wolfware platform fits your needs. Ultimately, giving Wolfware my full attention for extra time during the week will translate into a better, more polished product and experience for everyone involved.
Looking Ahead
Looking ahead, I couldn’t be more excited about the next chapter for Wolfware. In the coming weeks and months, we’ll be gearing up for our launch and everything that comes with it. That means polishing the user experience, thoroughly testing every feature, and squashing any remaining bugs. It also means putting more effort into planning our go-to-market strategy—from documentation and support readiness to outreach and marketing—so that Wolfware makes a strong entrance into the world.
On a personal note, taking this step feels invigorating. It’s a bit surreal to shift gears after juggling two jobs for so long, but I’ve never been more confident in Wolfware’s mission. This change gives me the chance to dive deeper into creative development and strategic planning for Wolfware’s future. To everyone who has been part of Wolfware’s journey so far—whether you’ve been testing our app, offering feedback, or just cheering from the sidelines—thank you. Your support has helped us get to this point. The best is yet to come, and I’m thrilled to have you with us as we enter this new chapter for Wolfware.
